Updates from Sandy
Some updates on the trip to Mahabs…. 10.30- scheduled time to reach toll plaza….. none of us were there!!!
11.30- Bhatter and Viswin – guess were the first ones to reach the resort….perhaps most of us thought this was some BIM class session wherein we could enter during the first break or during the last few minutes to give our attendance!!!
12.00- people trickle in….some leave to attend urgent work on a Sunday-( u know we BIMites don’t see a difference between a Sunday or a Monday) 12.30 – 1.30- some guys go for a swim, rest of them vetti mokkai….who is doing what? Who is getting married? Who is leaving which company and who is joining where etc?

+ the mokkai continues….some serious talk on how the interest rates are moving??......wondering why this topic came up?? …BIM20-family is buying a house..

Of course during the course of all these sessions people didn’t forget their old BIM habits of pulling other’s leg and if u wanna know who the target was…check out the photos…

Most of the gang playing volleyball seemed a bit rustic ….. we also had some new entrants to the court…Mr.Bhatter…who now looks like some indipop musician…unkempt hair, a small..tummy. Bhatter tried his best at volleyball with some coaching from his roomie..khanna….who incidentally is now a member of the Infosys volleyball team( so he claims!!)

A few phone calls from the guys who wanted to be there but could not make it, kept the rest occupied…
5.00- pack up time- ..a part of the gang heads back to Chennai and a few others stop on the way back at ECR dhabba for “bajji” which unfortunately was not available…so had to settle with some tea, biscuits and lime juice(one of the worst I ever had!!)a small goof up!!- u need something like this….to end the day

Nair missed the Dhabba…session though he didn’t have any big work to do back home .cos he taught that he was racing with UG and when UG stopped at the dhaba,he sensed his opportunity…and sped…only to find that there was no one racing with him

Regarding the attendance at the meet…..forget the numbers…the spirit of BIM 20 was there with people from far and wide making it to the meet.. …heard that our guy from orissa was also trying to make his way to the resort…but couldn’t make it…and was stranded at Thiruvanmiyur

Elamai idho idho idho..enemai idho idho..College teenage pengal.. Ellorkkum en meedhu kangal...

So that’s what our "nila" thinks ofhimself...Perennial attachment to the LH gate. He is amazing in that he got so many fans (appadinnu avaney sollikkuvaan) and friends in the 1st year among the girls. He thinks the dimple in cheek is an "appeal" to the girls. But hey..Due credit... he is one of the VERY few handsome guys in campus. And good hearted too.

One of the sweet guys in our batch who cares about everyone in the class. And

has the largest number of nicknames in this college..like "sentiraja" "networkbabu" and so on.
He is very caring and very sensitive. His tussles with Fire and his nanban are a real fun to watch. Nila is one of the most favorite guys around for his sweet ways of moving with people, showering care and affection to all around him and always has a pleasant countenance. This systems stud is known for loyalty to his friends....

When he speaks …you will smile... and when he smiles.. you will look on..

SatBat, Bridge as she is fondly called, is one of the (very very few) most disciplined, orderly girls in the LH. She is exceedingly disciplined and neat in her maintenance that she had a tough time managing things with her oh-so-careless housies.
Madam kku B'lore dhaan favourite. For the climate guys!! And ya... she is one who can dare to dress, much to the envy of her housies who can only imagine themselves in her trendy clothes. People who dunno her too well may think she is an innocent silent girl. But the ones who do know her, will vouch for her not-so-innocent side, which she proudly demonstrates. She earned the name Bridge for her brilliant ‘on the other side of the gate’ skills.

She is a surprisingly bold woman and very frank, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. Proof: she intimidated Amitabh Das (that he then left college) with her candid expression of her feelings for him in the very first week into college and even coaxing him into a ride in her cycle.
She has the capability of imparting knowlege to anybody on a “wide range of topics”. One of its beneficiaries has been her innocent Bekku roomy. She is also a pandu who sits with her books or some magazine most of the time in her room. She is an independent person who takes care of herself and helps people whenever in need.

Satbat has one of the most outrageous laughs on campus and her sense of humour (esp in ‘certain’ topics) is commendable. She is also called her skeletal cos she resembleers one. A very sincere and content person in life who is no less than a kid at times

Missing BIM so much… evening walk, chatting in front of minor’s room, fun I used to have with galeej gang in my room, dhabas etc etc…
After a hectic day in the office I used to wonder how much fun we used to have in BIM in spite of work pressure but that is missing in the corporate life. Planning to celebrate my birthday in Neyveli. “

This sweet girl whose trips to B'lore were far more than trips to her hometown Neyveli, is better known for her huge smiile & shining teeth.Where she is there is sure to be some action around, the photo sessions in her new saree with Lakshmikanth's camera is one good example (where the photos ended up is another yet another swweet story).One more fact - Assuming to be a "tomboy" she preferred guys around!!!

She happens to be the sole reason I lost my friend Amitabh Das, who geting bugged at her relentless pestering (which she calls pangs of affection) left BIM for good.

She has got Outstanding review from Thinksoft seems she is rocking in-house while Babu is rocking on-site.

BIM 20 the blog!

This blog is actually the result of utter frustration. I was trying to send the Felicitation photos to the groups id. I guess I tried 20 times, and although the size was nothing close to 1MB, it never seems bounce my mail back!

So, then I though it might be a good idea to create a blog for BIM20. I'm sure there are going to be a milliom more occassions in the future, where we need to share not just photos, but share our lives, jus like we did for 2 years at BIM.
